All Saints Remembers

Over the period leading up to and over the Commemoration of the end of World War 1, various member of the church undertook research into the men of Foots Cray who lost their lives in the conflict. There was a total of 53 men who did not come back and each man now has a folder with details of him and where possible his military records, (many of these were lost in WW2 due to the bombing of the records office). We must acknowledge the tremendous help and support we were given by Bexley Archives and to many local people who loaned us various items of memorabilia for our display. We had over 500+ people over the days that we were open, as well as 3 schools from the area, our MP James Brokenshire, the Mayor and Mayoress and local Councillors
